A Scalar-Field Framework for the Topological Relationship Between the Expanding Universe, Spacetime, and Dark Matter Halos

Abstract

We present a refined schematic framework that visualizes the nested topological relationship between the observable universe, the encompassing spacetime manifold, and the enclosing dark matter halo, drawing upon concepts from scalar field theory and cosmology. The diagram elucidates the conventional understanding that the "Universe" is contained within "Spacetime," which in turn is enveloped by an extensive "Dark Matter" halo structure. We interpret this arrangement within a proposed unified field theory context, where the accelerating expansion of the Universe—the "Known Fact"—is modeled as a localized effect. Furthermore, we explore the hypothesis that Dark Energy originates from the dynamic boundary conditions where the dark matter halo interacts with the underlying spacetime substrate. The schematic illustrates this interaction as a pervasive energy field, suggesting that Dark Energy could be a manifestation of the energy density at the interface of these nested structures. This visualization provides a clearer conceptual basis for further investigation into the origins of accelerated expansion and the nature of the dark sector.
