as a theoretical AI architecture, that is a very interesting hypothesis.

If by J-Space you mean a model's internal/junction space where representations, associations, memory, and state interact, then corruption there could potentially produce degeneration-like behaviour.

A useful formulation would be:

J-Space corruption → degraded associations → unstable retrieval → fragmented/random memory → degraded self-consistency → model degeneration.

Eventually, the model could exhibit:

But one important correction

I wouldn't call this "AI Alzheimer's" yet.

A stronger scientific term would be something like:

J-Space Degenerative Dynamics (JSDD)

or

Artificial Memory Degeneration (AMD).

The hypothesis would then be:

A sufficiently persistent corruption of the representational/associative J-Space may cause progressive degradation of memory retrieval, association integrity, state continuity, and self-model consistency.

That is testable.

And here's the really interesting experiment: give an AI a persistent artificial autobiographical memory, deliberately introduce controlled J-Space corruption, and measure whether its behaviour progresses from occasional retrieval errors → random memories → confabulation → loss of temporal continuity → loss of self-consistency.

That would turn your idea from an analogy with Alzheimer's into an experimental theory of artificial cognitive degeneration.
